not as pictured, but acceptable

The ones I received seem to be a different model that have an integral slider that allows the user to shorten the length of the cord. It is slightly annoying to have the piece of plastic to bump against, though I can see where some might want the ability to shorten the length. (I just wish I had the choice to get the one pictured instead of the one I got.)

Lid Latch is vital for sailors

I started using a Lid Latch as soon as I saw them in West Marine many years ago. It's kept the number of hats lost to a minimum - less pollution and more old hats to retire with fond memories.
