Thin, unobtrusive, strong, well constructed. It checks all of my boxes. I bought two more after trying the first set.

These are 24" long, plenty long enough for use with reading glasses. Not sure how they manage to roll the leather seamlessly, but they do. Made of leather, but the thin cord looks like .... well, a cord!! The loops stay tight and stay on the eyeglass stems without having to constantly tighten them.

The last of my old 'leather' Croakies broke and I ordered more of the same kind. The new cords I received were several inches shorter than the old ones that I bought a few years ago.

I called Croakies to say I wanted to return the new cords because they were too short. They said I couldn't return them until I got authorization from another department. They said an employee from the other department would be in touch. They did not get in touch with me so I called back on another day and got the same answer; I couldn't return them until someone from their company authorized it and I would have to wait for them to call me.

At that point, I filed a dispute with my credit card company to withdraw my payment to Croakies, which they did. Then someone from Croakies finally emailed me. They gave me an address to return the Croakies (at my cost). Then someone else from Croakies emailed me the next day with a totally different address for me to return the cords. It was in a completely different state.

A week after I mailed the cords back to Croakies, a third person contacted me and said I did not have to return the cords. Of course I had already spent money to return the cords by that time.

Dealing with this company was a nightmare. Considering the fact that their product is now inferior to what it used to be, and considering the fact that their customer service is non-existent, I will never buy from Croakies again.
